To the extent that the Dobbs decision represents the triumph of a religious perspective on abortion, for Hindu-Americans it raises a fundamental question: Will the First Amendment’s protection against government giving preference to a particular religious perspective under the Establishment Clause conflict with religious freedom in reproductive matters?
